Apple's latest Photos app overhaul has left a lot of people scratching their heads — but the good news is it's an easy fix. Here's a simple 3-step guide to restoring some order and making it feel like home again.

Step 1: Access "Customise & Reorder" Open the Photos app and scroll down until you see the "Customise & Reorder" option. This is where the magic happens.

Step 2: Select What You Want to See In this menu, you can choose which sections to keep and which to ditch. For a cleaner, more familiar layout we recommend unchecking everything except Utilities, Pinned Collections and Albums. This strips things back and gives you a setup that's easy to navigate without the clutter.

Step 3: Reorder to Your Preference Now decide the order that works best for you. Our recommended setup for maximum efficiency:

• Utilities — quick access to Recently Deleted and Hidden
• Pinned Collections — fast access to screenshots, videos and recently saved items
• Albums — your most important photo and video albums front and centre

Bonus Tip You can also reorder your Pinned Collections by tapping "Modify" — handy for making sure the collections you use most are always within reach.
